This antique fishing village on the Brazilian coast, 190 kilometers from Río de Janeiro, is a an 8km long peninsula
with 23 beaches. Each beach has its own unforgettable character. Buzios is a perfect paradise for those
who like good food, arts/culture, in addition to nature.
The ocean promenade, “Orla Bardot” extends along the coast of Armação
beach where anchored fishing boats rock back and forth and where tourists can
admire the historic buildings, colonial houses and works of art that define the peninsula.
Rua das Pedras
“Rua das Pedras”, the continuation of “Orla Bardot”, is located alongside Armação beach. It’s a walking path
where you can enjoy the best of what city life has to offer: fashion, art and fine cuisine;
visit bars, shops, galleries, and some of the most sophisticated restaurants in Buzios.
Each of the 23 beaches in Buzios have their own unique character. The peninsula
receives currents from both the equator and the South Pole, making some beaches ideal for snorkeling, while other beaches with
lots of waves and colder waters are ideal for surf and other water sports.
